BiographyHistory

Ginger Tjakamarra, son of Makinti Napanangka, was an artist, translator and editor from the Northern Territory. He lived on an outstation at Wadiyawanu and painted for Papunya Tula Artists. His country was in Pintupi territory south west from Kintore towards Kulkuta in Western Australia. He met and married fellow artist Wentja Napaltjarri in Haasts Bluff mission.
