BiographyHistory

Joanna Erskine graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (International) and a Graduate Diploma in Education. She has been a high school English/Drama teacher, worked for the Royal Lyceum Youth Theatre in Edinburgh and has been the Education Manager at Bell Shakespeare.

She is also a playwright, a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Playwrights Studio and was an Australian delegate at World Interplay 2009. Erskine has been a resident playwright for CRY HAVOC, a revolutionary new theatre co-operative of emerging practitioners committed to the daring reworking of the great classic texts for the contemporary stage.
