  • Writing name used by William Wilkes for a satirical column titled 'Telegraphic Despatch' which ran in the Moreton Bay Courier in the late 1840s and early 1850s. The fictional reporter was supposedly stationed as a look-out at the windmill on Wickham Terrace, from where they reported on events in Brisbane.
