Meadows' reviews and prose have been published in various venues, including Strange Horizons, the Huffington Post, Black Gate, The Mary Sue, A Dribble Of Ink, and The Book Smugglers. For her work as a fan writer, she has been nominated (as at 2017) for two Hugo Awards (Best Fan Writer) and two Ditmar Awards (Best Fan Writer).
In addition to these works, Meadows has published young-adult urban fantasy novels (Solace and Grief and The Key to Starveldt), epic portal fantasy (An Accident of Stars), and a novella that re-imagined Shakespeare (Coral Bones).
Her work has been nominated for and commended by national and international awards, including the Gemmell Awards, the James Tiptree Jr Award, and the Chronos Award.
