BiographyHistory

David Blanasi was an internationally renowned performer who travelled nationally and internationally. He was an instrument craftsmen and player who financed the White Cockatoo Performing Group. Blanasi grew up in Kundirri near central Southern Arnhem Land where his father instructed him in his cultural tradition. In 2001, David Blanasi went missing from his community.
