BiographyHistory

Edward James Stormon joined the Society of Jesus in the mid 1930s. Educated at Melbourne University, he wrote a biographical study of the medieval mystic Richard Rolle. He was a lecturer in English and the History of Philosophy at the Jesuit House of Studies, Loyola, Victoria, and a tutor in the English department at Melbourne University. The author of a number of critical and historical literary essays, he also contributed to Meanjin Papers.
