BiographyHistory

Beulah Pickwick grew up on the Tweed River in New South Wales and was a champion sportswoman at the state school that she attended. It was until she left school and was employed at a boarding house that she experience racism. In 2009, part of Pickwick's life story was featured in the National Museum of Australia's exhibition From Little Things Big Things Grow: Fighting For Indigenous Rights 1920-1970.
