BiographyHistory

Dotty Whatebee grew up on Bedford Downs station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia 'where there was little or no contact with other Kija relatives.' Later in her life she returned to live with her people at Warmun 'where she became a strong leader. After many years in alien territory Dottie rejoiced at being back on Kija country' with her kin.
