BiographyHistory

Born in London, Septimus Frearson joined a bookselling, publishing and printing business his brother Samuel had established in Adelaide around 1868. Septimus opened a branch of the business as Frearson Brothers, printers and stationers, in Hay Street in Perth in the 1880s. He settled in Norseman, WA in the 1890s, where he owned and printed the first goldfields newspaper, the Norseman Pioneer.
