BiographyHistory

Bill Gray spent his childhood growing up in Bourke where he was raised by his aunty. His mother's death was treated as suspicious by police. Gray received some education and began working at a young age first as a station hand then as a drover. After working in a variety of jobs, Gray spent time in South America on oil rigs and eventually began a drilling company with an old friend. The business had a successful first two years until a disagreement saw Gray return to Bourke.
