BiographyHistory

Growing up in Condobolin, Ernest Wighton was a boxer until he lost interest as a result of being paid less than some of the people he won against. Wighton was also a skilled slaughterman, blacksmith, concreter, explosives expert and worked as a plumber. Wighton served in the Australian Army from 22nd of April, 1942 to the 12th of August, 1943.
