BiographyHistory

The wife of editor and publisher Charles Macfaull (q.v.), Elizabeth Macfaull, after her husband's death, published the Perth Gazette and Western Australian Journal from 19 December 1846 to 25 December 1847.

According to Ingeborg Zoll in The Development of the Book Trade in Western Australia (1989): 56, Elizabeth Macfaull tendered for and won the job of Government Printer for 1848.

Pamela Statham notes in Dictionary of Western Australians 1829-1914 : Volume I : Early Settlers : 1829-1850 (1979): 213 that Elizabeth Macfaull left Perth for Singapore on the Waterlily in July 1849.
