BiographyHistory

Betty Carrington was born on Texas Downs Station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Carrington grew up at the old Turkey Creek post office and police station. Her father was a police tracker until the police station closed. Carrington spent her youth working as a housekeeper on Texas Downs Stations. She has been also been an artist.
