BiographyHistory

Moogy Sumner has been involved in reviving and teaching Aboriginal culture for many years. Sumner was involved in organising the Ngarrindjeri Ngrilkulun '99 Corroboree, the first corroboree at Raukkan for 100 years, and organised to coincide with celebrations for the International year of Older Persons. Sumner was born at Raukkan, formerly known as Point McLeay Mission, in South Australia, as were his parents and grandparents. He has worked for the Adelaide Sobriety Group and run seminars in cultural awareness.
