BiographyHistory

Jack Butler was born in May 1901 at Wilukampal which is also known as Caraline Well, a shepherding outcamp near Moroonah Station. Jack was a speaker of several languages including Jiwarli, the Aboriginal language originally spoken along the Henry River inland from Carnarvon in the north-west of Western Australia.
