BiographyHistory

Bentley was employed as a journalist on the Newcastle Morning Herald And Miners' Advocate in the 1940s, mainly writing book reviews. He also wrote poetry. He died tragically young in 1947. He was professionally (and socially) associated with Harry Hooton (q.v.).
