BiographyHistory

Frank Lampard's father taught him how to be an effective trapper and horse rider. He first went to school at Lameroo and continued to change schools due to his father's job with the Railways Department which caused his family to relocate numerous times over the years.

After finishing school and going to college, Frank Lampard began working in the area of Aboriginal education. Lampard considered education to be a means of addressing the various social disadvantages of Indigenous people. He was also passionate about retaining Aboriginal languages and cultures in schools.

lampard has been Chair of the South Australian Aboriginal Training Advisory Committee and Deputy Chair of the National Aboriginal Education Consultative Committee. He has also been the Acting Chief Executive, of the Department of Aboriginal Affairs in South Australia, Chair of the South Australia Aboriginal Heritage Committee and Native Title Commissioner for South Australia.
