BiographyHistory

Edgar D. Turley served four years in France as a Sapper with the Australian Army's 5th Engineers during World War I. After the war he worked for a year with The Australian, the official organ of the Returned Soldiers' League, and later on the editorial staff of The Murchison Times and Day Dawn Gazette (q.v.) in the Western Australian Goldfields town of Cue.
