BiographyHistory

Mervyn Mulardy is from the Kimberley in Western Australia and belongs to the Karrajarri people. Mulardy is a strong advocate of Native title and is driven by his desire to maintain culture and preserve the knowledge that has been passed on to him for future generations. He is a founding member of the Yiriman Youth Project and has represented Karajarri on the Executive Committees of the Kimberley Land Council and Kimberley Aboriginal Law and Culture Centre. He is a cultural musician and artist, and has performed around the world.
