BiographyHistory

Yilbie Warrie is an Injibarndi Elder from Cheeditha Village and is the main custodian of Toby Wiliguru Pambardu's songs. Warrie was born on Yarrie Station and his parents names were Brit Mitchelle and Minnie Williams. Before suffering from a vision impairment, Yilbi Warrie worked on Munda Station, Yarrie Station, Boodarie Station, and Pardoo Station as a drover, cook and cleaner. Yilbie Warrie participated in the Pilbara Strike for better conditions and pay.
