A Scottish poet, Richard Price was born in England but grew up in Renfrewshire, south-west of Glasgow. He has (co-)edited various literary publications including the international poetry magazine, Verse. In 2010 he was Head of Modern British Collections at the British Library. His works of poetry include Greenfields (2007) and Rays (2009).
