BiographyHistory

Matt Pagey Dawson is a senior Gooniyandi and Lunga man, who was born at Margaret River Station in northern Western Australia. Dawson worked as a stockman at Pullout Springs on Louisa Downs Station, located between Halls Creek and Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia. His father belonged to the Gooniyandi people, and his mother was from the Lunga people.

Matt Dawson is the father of Terry Dawson (q.v.).
