BiographyHistory

Sam Drummond was born on a sheep station in Shark Bay and was the son of a Malayan pearler who was also a cook. His mother was an Aboriginal woman from the Nunda people. Sam worked for most of his life on stations and married a woman named Ethel Tittum, raising ten children on Doorawah Station. Sam's youth was during the depression years and seeing the youth in his old age being careless with their money is surprising to him.
