BiographyHistory

Film producer, screenwriter, actor.

One of Australia's pioneering filmmakers, Bert Forsyth is largely associated with two bushranger films made between 1910 and 1911 - Moonlite (aka Captain Moonlite) and Thunderbolt (q.v.). Directed by John Gavin (q.v.), both films were also produced by Southern Cross Motion Pictures (q.v.).
