1 I Cry Mmmm Rose Murray (interviewer), Nyaparu , 2001 single work oral history interview
— Appears in: Wumun Turi : Pilbara Aboriginal Women's Stories 2001; (p. 59-69)
'This story is close to me. This woman was with her daughter Lena McGrath and my mother when they were taken from our family at Warrawagine Station in 1938. Lena eventually came back to the Pilbara, found her mother and was with her when she died. There are many Aboriginal children who have been taken away that we are still looking for. The Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority and Department of Community Development have got old files that can help trace our history. This was the hardest and most painful story. This is what it's about'.
