BiographyHistory

Alison Lloyd grew up in Canberra but also lived in Europe and Asia as a child.She later spent two years studying in China. She was there in 1989 when the student uprising occurred. She speaks and reads Chinese, and has worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She has lived in Melbourne with her husband and two children.
