BiographyHistory

Tony Gilbert worked in his father's car dealership in Sydney, developing expertise in accountancy and financial investment. Gilbert befriended John Bell (q.v.) and became one of the founding director's of the Nimrod Theatre. Gilbert also supported the Bell Shakespeare Company over many years and gave generously to a range of other organisations and charities.
