BiographyHistory

'John Henderson is a lecturer in linguistics at the University of Western Australia. He worked as a linguist in the language centre at the Institute for Aboriginal Development in Alice Springs for nearly 10 years, 1984-1993. His work there covered a wide range of areas including school curriculum support, co-teaching intensive language courses for adults, co-teaching cross-cultural courses, NAATI accredited interpreter training, interpreting and translator service support, language research and resource development, especially as co-complier of the major dictionary of Eastern/Central Arrernte (over 750 pages).'
