BiographyHistory

Mark Copland holds a PhD from Griffith University. His thesis, 'Calculating Lives', examined the history of forced removals of Aboriginal people in Queensland. In 1999 he worked as a senior researcher with the Forde Inquiry into Child Abuse in Queensland. He has worked with the Catholic Social Justice Commission at Toowoomba, and he is also a member of the Australian Catholic Social Justice Council.
