BiographyHistory

Alunga Agnes Lippo is a storyteller who belongs to the Wadjiginy people on her mother's side and the Emmiyangal on her father's side. Her father was a scout in the Australian Army during World War II. Lippo cared for many children and helped to raise her sister's ten children. She also taught a linguist the Batjamalh language of her mother.
