BiographyHistory

Narelle Kickett was born in Mount Barker but grew up in Perth. She began a nursing degree before transferring to teaching. Kickett graduated as a teacher in 1986 and began teaching at a remote school at Gogo, just outside Fitzroy Crossing. Kickett also taught at Brookton before winning a position teaching Nyoongah kids at Gnangara, an all-Aboriginal school servicing the Gnangara community and Perth's northern suburbs.
