Ken Vincent moved with his family to South Australia in 1946. He worked in a variety jobs in agriculture and industry, before becoming a social worker in 1969. For nearly 40 years, 31 of those years as a senior manager in Families SA, he worked with young offenders, children in care and victims of child abuse. His experiences influenced his writing.
Ken Vincent read regularly at Friendly Street Poets and the Gawler poetry readings and was co-founder of the North Eastern Writers.
