BiographyHistory

Fred Warrior grew up in Preston Point, South Australia. His greatgrandparents are Barney Waria (q.v.), May Wilson, Fred Warrior and Kate Edwards. Warrior married in 1967 and was conscripted to the army shortly after. He served for six years in the Australian Army then began working for Aboriginal Welfare and the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement.
