'The Swan River Muse' lived in York, Western Australia, in the 1830s.
Possibly the same author as 'A Non-Descript' (q.v.) whose poem The Muse of Swan River was advertised as 'The Muse of Swan River to His Grace the Duke of Wellington, on hearing that His Grace was not likely to accept the Seals of Office in Nov.,1834, by A Non-descript'.
