Story written from the perspective of an Aboriginal boy, Balulu, who is of the 'Desert People', and his pet dingo Warrigal. The story tells of Balulu's experiences hunting with a womera and boomerang, and discusses Balulu's 'Dingo Totem'.

While the author is obviously attempting to convey the dignity of Aboriginal people and their lifestyle, the story also demonstrates a deep lack of understanding of the culture.
