BiographyHistory

Zenith Entertainment is one of the United Kingdom's oldest independent TV producers, having been set up in 1984 by drama producer Charles Denton. He later went on to become head of drama at the BBC. Zenith Entertainment's productions include Inspector Morse, Hamish Macbeth, 2000 Acres of Sky and the UKTV reality show A Life Coach Less Ordinary. The company's association with Australia, through its subsidiary Zenith-Film Australia includes Fields of Fire II (1988). Although reportedly turning over an estmiated £14 million per year in the early 2000s, Zenith Entertainment went into receivership in 2006. The following year the company was declared bankrupt.
