BiographyHistory

Oliver Haag is [2011]a Research Fellow at the Austrian Research Center for Transcultural Studies, Vienna. Oliver studied History and Political Science at the University of Vienna, Austria. His research interests are in the areas of German reception of Indigenous cultures, politics of diversity, and theories of nation-building, with particular interest in Australia, the South Pacific and Germany. Haag is the author of academic writings on published Indigenous Australian autobiographies and (Indigenous) Australian literature translated into German.
