BiographyHistory

Located in Surrey Hill, Sydney and owned by Bridget Ikin, Hibiscus Films Pty Ltd was initially established in New Zealand in the early 1980s. Based in Australia since 1987, the company has been producing original and distinctive films in both New Zealand and Australia since 1984 - amongst them Jane Campion's An Angel at my Table, Alison Maclean's Crush, Clara Law's Floating Life, and Sarah Watt's acclaimed Look Both Ways.

Hibiscus films are distributed by John Maynard's Footprint Films.
