BiographyHistory

After leaving the Philippines, Lulu Turner lived in Japan, the UK and Papua New Guinea. She arrived in Australia in 1987.

Turner has worked at the Research School of Asian and Pacific Studies, ANU and she is now a freelance editor and community advocate on human rights and social justice issues. Her first published poems appear in Out of the Golden Silence.
