BiographyHistory

W. G. Henderson was the printer and publisher of the ill-fated Cairns Daily Times from October 1899 to February 1900. Following its closure he became manager of the commercial printing section of The Cairns Morning Post. From mid-1890 to 22 May 1897 he was proprietor of The Cairns Argus and in 1904 he launched The Barron Valley Advocate and Mareeba Advertiser which he ran until its merger with The Tableland Examiner in 1931.
