BiographyHistory

William Peel Mellefont, 'son of John William and Sarah Mellefont, emigrated in 1865 from Ireland to Brisbane, Queensland, along with two of his sisters and their husbands.'

In 1880, William Mellefont launched the Gladstone Observer.
