Agnes Palmer spent her childhood in the Santa Teresa Catholic Mission, south-east of Alice Springs. Palmer became an alcoholic as an adult but became sober after converting to Catholicism. She has spent time interpreting the Bible and intertwining it into her Indigenous beliefs for her people.
