BiographyHistory

Barry Brebner taught German at Brisbane State High School in the late 1960s, and while there co-wrote an original musical comedy about a fictional school (named St George's) with collaboration with Ian McKinlay. The musical reportedly contained many passing references to people associated with Brisbane State High and proved very popular with the school and local community. In 1970 he collaborated with a number of actors and writers on a Brisbane Arts Theatre revue called It's Back.
