Chinese Christian poet Song Xiaoxian was born in Hubei province. His published collections include Meng de gesheng (Dream of Singing) and Malan kaihua ershiyi (On the Aster Twenty-one Flowers Bloom). In 2008 he was working in Guangzhou. He is translated by Australian poet Simon Patton (q.v.).
