Patrick Thomas, M.B.E., is an orchestal and opera conductor. Over the course of his career he has conducted hundreds of concerts both in Australia and overseas. He is the author of an autobiography, 'Maestro Down Under' (manuscript), and poetry. His manuscripts and correspondence, 'Papers of Patrick Thomas, 1944-2001,' are held by the National Library of Australia.
