BiographyHistory

Graham Masterton has published more than thirty-five horror novels and three short story collections as well as bestselling sex guides. His debut novel, The Manitou, was an instant bestseller. His more recent critically acclaimed novels include The Chosen Child, Trauma, Spirit, and Prey. He is an Edgar Award and Bram Stoker Award winner and a World Fantasy Award nominee.

Only Masterton's one work set in Australia is listed in AustLit. Masterton says: 'As a matter of fact I have never managed to get to Australia, although I have always wanted to. The research I did for Corroboree was based on contemporary accounts and history books, and also on photographs taken at the time' (Correspondence with author March 2006).
