Donna Morris is a member of the Stolen Generations. She was removed from her family when she was five years old and sent to St Patrick's Catholic Orphanage in Armidale, New South Wales. Morris was separated from her siblings and was moved around to various institutions and foster homes. Morris was reunited with her siblings in 1984.
Morris has worked as a child care and youth worker and has been Artistic Director of NGOROE-Kah Aboriginal Theatre Company in Newcastle.
Morris' story was recorded by the National Library of Australia for the Bringing Them Home oral history project and appeared in the associated publication Many Voices: Reflections on experiences of Indigenous child separation, edited by Doreen Mellor and Anna Haebich (2002).
