Kiefer, also known as 'Bluebone Dann', is a descendant of the Nyool Nyool people. As a young boy, Kiefer with his mother Lucy Dann, would make up stories inspired by Kiefer's country at Loongabid on the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Kiefer the youngest of six children grew up in Broome and is now completing his studies in Perth. Kiefer is also a talented sportsman and musician.
