BiographyHistory

Bobby Brown was born at Ingomar Station, South Australia but was removed from his family along with two of his siblings at ten years of age. Brown was sent to Naracoorte to be a labourer on a farm while his siblings were taken to Umeewarra Mission. Brown gained employment as a stockman, on the railways, in films, interpreting in courtrooms, in ethnomusicology and in schools.
