BiographyHistory

Set up in the mid-1980s Beyond Films has always been largely focused on distribution. It has, however, co-produced a small number of feature films, notable That Eye, The Sky (q.v., 1994) and A Little Bit of Soul (1998), starring Geoffrey Rush and David Wenham. The company, which has offices in Sydney, Dublin, London and Washington, is now called Beyond Distribution, and is responsible for overseeing the distribution of more than 5,000 hours of television programming (comprising more than 65% of beyond 'in-house or joint venture productions) and over 300 film titles - including Australian classics such as Lantana, Strictly Ballroom and Chopper.
